A circular economy strategy for a leading car service chain.
The context
ATU, Germany’s leading car service chain, wants to structure its circular economy approach.
The brief
Build the strategy: parts, reuse, services.
What we did
Two days immersed in the service centres and at the group’s own recycler, then the value chain walked back friction point by friction point — from waste generated in the workshop to where tyres actually end up at end of life. One solution proposed against each, from the simplest — selling in bulk, signposting drop-off areas, putting circularity into the sales pitch — to the most structural. Then the trade-off: each solution assessed on expected benefit and ease of implementation, to separate quick wins from long-term bets.
The impact
A circular roadmap for the network, sorted between what gets done this quarter and what goes to committee.
ESG strategy in four months: interviews, double materiality, actionable priorities.
The impact. A strategy the group applies, not a report.

Digital strategy and an app prototype to open up primary care.
The impact. A digital department created straight afterwards.

An executive committee offsite that ends with a plan and a horizon.
The impact. A shared plan, and a team that worked together.
