ESG due diligence of Rumeur Publique in four days, with an action plan.
The context
Rumeur Publique, a PR and influence agency, is a Siparex portfolio company. The fund’s operating partner and ESG leads want a qualitative due diligence, calibrated for small and mid-cap.
The brief
An ESG due diligence in four days, that leads to action.
What we did
A method built from scratch and run three times. Every topic in the European framework is scored against the company’s actual impact, sector by sector and down to sub-topic level — the scoring is then tested against the company’s own value chain, to check it describes what the business really does. Maturity is rated on an explicit scale, from no action at all to targets aligned with international best practice, and every rating is justified in one line. A sector peer provides a concrete point of comparison. Then the priorities, each with an indicator, an ambition and a first milestone — plus the quick wins that need no budget. All of it with an honest caveat about what four days allow you to see, and what they do not.
The impact
For each target, a prioritised action plan and a monitoring dashboard; for Siparex, a repeatable format — and an ESG interview grid reusable as is.
ESG strategy in four months: interviews, double materiality, actionable priorities.
The impact. A strategy the group applies, not a report.

Pre-deal insight on a higher education group.
The impact. An independent reading of the market, question by question.
A circular economy strategy for a leading car service chain.
The impact. A circular roadmap for the network.
